Kareema is a village in the Bharatpur District of Rajasthan, India. It is located in the Salwar Kameez (traditional dress) belt of the district, between Jagdishpur and Bharatpur.
This village has historically been referred to as "Kareema". The name has also been spelled as "Karem", "Karim", "Karimma", "Karimtala", "Karimabad", and "Karimpur".
Kareema is located on National Highway 15, and is connected to the rest of Bharatpur district and the rest of the state of Rajasthan by road.
Kareema is considered to be one of the most important villages in the district. Because of this, it has a large annual religious and social event.
The Hindi novelist author Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay lived in Kareema during the 1950s.
Kareema's position in the district has historically been at the center of the influential Chitkara clan. The large and historically prominent Chitkara family controlled the area until the 20th century.
The current Nawab of Kareema is Bhanvatsari Chattopadhyay. He is the eldest son of Dr. Khudiram Chattopadhyay, who was one of the most successful Chief Ministers of undivided India (1947–1950). His grandfather and father were Nawab of Kareema.

Management
On 1 April 2007, Harrogate Borough Council acquired the site and the park became part of Harrogate Borough Council Parks. On 1 April 2012, this was merged into the new City of York unitary authority.
The current principal officer is Jenny Webb, Recreation Park Manager.
